Who We Are
Founded in 2003 and operating directly in Ethiopia since 2020, Globe Outreach is a faith-driven nonprofit dedicated to helping vulnerable children rise above economic, social, and spiritual poverty through holistic care and family-focused support.

Globe deploys 40 trained volunteers—many of whom grew up in the same orphanage system—to provide daily, full‑spectrum care for children ages 3–8. Core services include:

Family
Supporting Vulnerable Children
The long‑term goal is placement into a loving, permanent family. For children who cannot be placed, Globe prioritizes transition into family‑type settings that offer stability and belonging.

Globe's work with 80 children in Kebebe Tsehay from ages 2-8 included remodeling their homes to ensure a more family like environment.

Meet the Team
Helen Daniels-President
Helen Daniels spent her childhood at the Kechene Children’s Center in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where she lived from six months of age until she left at sixteen. At age thirteen, she came to faith in Christ through the outreach ministry of a local church. While pursuing nursing studies in Addis Ababa, she also operated a retail business, demonstrating both determination and entrepreneurial spirit.
Today, Helen supports two children's centers in Ethiopia through a network of volunteers, many of whom grew up in the same orphanages she once called home. She also authored and produced MightyBooks, an animated Bible story series in Amharic that is being used by Globe and other ministries to reach children across Ethiopia and beyond. Since moving to the United States, Helen has earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing while raising two children with her husband, Randy. Her life reflects a remarkable journey of faith, perseverance, and service.
Randy Daniels-Chair
Randy served for more than 35years for a large US based international child welfare agency including being based in Ethiopia, where he oversaw programs across Africa and the Middle East. Before that, he spent eight years with Texas Child Protective Services, where he began his career in social services. Over the years, he has helped design, develop, and operate a wide range of programs, including foster care, family preservation, transitional housing and support services for single mothers, and initiatives serving youth aging out of the foster care system. A credentialed social worker, Randy has authored several articles, including It Takes a Village to Raise a Child, Suffer the Children, The Power of Women to Change the World: A Generational Approach to the World’s Orphan Problem, and Is the Church Really Important to Developing Healthy Families?
Muna Bahiretibeb Woldamla-CFO
Muna serves as the Globe International Country Director thus manages the finances and day to day operations of the work in the Rehoboth Children’s Center in Hawassa and the Kebebe Tsechai Center in Addis Ababa. the volunteers. Muna is an accountant by education and training and brings significant experience working for local NGO’s to Globe. Muna grew up in Ethiopian orphanages and called the Kechene orphanage home for 18 years. Muna is a committed Christian, very active in her local church, and understands her calling is to minister to the fatherless.
